The Accident

October 25, 2007 was a peaceful, quiet, normal day. School went quick and I couldn't wait to get home when that sweet bell rang ending 7th period. I had no homework and was excited for the football game that night against Solon. I took the mile hike to my car in the junior parking lot and took off.

I snuck out the opening in the gate to go out the main exit for the high school. I was in the left-turn lane, stopped and inching up to find the opportunity to go. I looked left-no cars. I looked right-cars turning right out of the upper lot, none turning left. I looked left again-still nothing. I thought i was good to go.

I hung a left onto Lunn Road. Just as I edged into the lane, a car came driving past. I tried hitting the brakes to avoid me hitting her, but to no avail. I clipped her back bumper. The crunch made my stomach sink. We immediately pulled over to the side of the road and examined the damage. My right front part of my bumper was a little smashed up, and her back left part of her bumper was a little smashed up. We called the police and they helped us settle everything back to order.

I finally got my car back from the shop after a long week and a half. This accident taught me a couple very important lessons. First, to always drive safely and MAKE SURE there are no cars coming from either direction. And secondly, that body shops charge way too much for parts and labor.

"Where I'm From"

I am from baseball
from Wilson and Rawlings
I am from the fire pit in the backyard
realxing, entertaining, and smokey.

I am from the many tall trees,
the grass, green and lucious.

I'm from the Feast of the Assumption
and towering over my short italian relatives,
from Jeanne, Bill, and Julie.

I'm from the joking around and telling stories,
from put things back where you found them
and treat others how you would like to be treated.

I'm from church on Sunday mornings
I'm from Italy, Grandma's meatballs, and lasagna.

From my Grandma breaking a wooden spoon over Uncle Joey's backside
my Grandpa telling hilarious jokes.

Albums and albums of memories
that will always put a smile on my face.

Credo

1.) Treat others how you would want to be treated.
2.) Laugh and make others laugh.
3.) Nothing of value comes without being earned.
4.) Impossible is nothing.
5.) Cherish what you have; don't be greedy.
6.) Always apologize.
7.) Never give up.
8.) Everything happens for a reason.
9.) Live everyday like it's your last.
10.) Have a positive attitude.

An Essential Strongsville Place: Chipotle

Chipotle is an absolutely essential place in Strongsville. Whenever someone is in doubt about where to go get food, Chipotle is almost always the answer. It's close to the high school if you are hungry after school and it is very filling. You can customize anything you want and have it made just the way you want it. Not only is it convienient and quick, but it is delicious as well. I don't think I have ever met a person who can honestly say that they hate Chipotle's food. There is something for everybody. From burritos, to tacos, to fajitas. Chipotle is an essential place in Strongsville because its quick, they serve great food, and it is a very rocognizable restaurant.
